Maria Dal Pan Dias has been named public information officer of the Nevada Division of Insurance.
Dal Pan Dias previously worked nine years as a reporter, editor and graphic designer.
She earned a bachelor's degree in English, with a concentration in journalism, from the University of Delaware.
