DRI Foundation board

Marybel Batjer, Gayle Crowell and John H.O. La Gatta of Reno and Lawrence "Lawrie" Lieberman of Incline Village have been named to the Desert Research Foundation board of trustees.

Batjer is vice president of public policy and communications for Harrah's Entertainment. Crowell is a full-time consultant with the private-equities firm Warburg Pincus LLC of San Francisco. La Gatta is an investment banker. Lieberman is former dean of admissions at the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
