Kelly Frank has been named interim public information officer at Desert Research Institute.
Frank previously worked as media coordinator for Truckee Meadows Community College and also has experience as a news operations manager for a Reno television station.
She earned a bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of Nevada, Reno.
