State seeks victims

Investigators in the office of the Nevada Secretary of State's office said last week they are seeking potential victims of a possible investment scam in the state.

James B. Spungin was arrested last week on securities fraud and theft charges.

Scretary of State Ross Miller said Spungin told his victims he had patent rights to a vending machine that would dispense infant care products at public locations such as airports and bus stations and that Procter &

Gamble had agreed to purchase Spungin's patent rights for $35 million. He offered potential investors the

opportunity to buy shares of stock in "TDB Vending."

Anyone who believes they may be the victim of a fraudulent investment scheme can contact the Secretary of State's office at 688-1855.
