Newcrest Resources Inc., an Australian mining company, has ended an exploration program in Lander County.
The company spent $900,000 in the last year exploring the Horse Mountain properties of Miranda Gold Corp. of Vancouver. The property is about 11 miles west of Barrick Gold's Pipeline mine complex.
