Johannes Petersen has joined American Sierra Gold Corp. of Reno as chief financial officer. He also was named to the board of the publicly held mining company.
Petersen previously worked for several resource development companies.
He earned a bachelor's degree in economics from Universidad del Pacifico in Peru and a master's in business from the London Business School in the United Kingdom.
