Writer for Journal to keynote Directions

Stephen Moore, senior economics writer for the Wall Street Journal, and a commentator on Fox News, CNBC and CNN, will headline Directions 2010 February 10.

The annual event, hosted by the Reno Sparks Chamber of Commerce, is northern Nevada's largest economic forum. Attendance typically tops 800 business executives and civic leaders.

Moore will discuss the 2010 outlook for politics and the economy.

He has served as a founder and president of the Club for Growth, senior fellow at the Cato Institute, senior economist at the Joint Economic Committee and Grover M. Hermann Fellow in Budgetary Affairs at the Heritage Foundation.

He is the author of five books, including most recently, "The End of Prosperity: How Higher Taxes Will Doom the Economy If We Let it Happen."
