Jana Smoley, previously director of sales and marketing for Lakeridge Golf and Country Club, has been named executive director of the Reno-Tahoe Open Foundation, which operates the region's only PGA Tour event.
Before joining Lakeridge in 2002, Smoley worked about six years with the Reno Gazette-Journal, including a as stint as the newspaper's sales training and communications manager.
She is a graduate of Old Dominion University.
