Nine homes valued at $1 million or more sold in the Reno-Sparks market during the third quarter compared with 14 sales in the segment a year earlier, Dickson Realty reported.
The median price of the sales was $1.3 million, compared with $1.15 million in the third quarter of 2008.
The homes that sold during this year's first quarter had been on the market an average of 469 days, compared with an average of 248 days for the luxury homes that sold in last year's third quarter.
