Feds pick Mariah

Mariah Power, a Reno-based maker of wind turbines, won a contract with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration to provide the wind system for Ted Stevens Marine Research Institute at Juneau, Alaska. Six Windspire vertical axis wind turbines will generate 7.2 kilowatts for the facility.
