Nichols Consulting Engineers of Reno placed 25th nationwide in a listing of "Best Civil Engineering Firms to Work For," and 12th among firms with fewer than 100 employees.
The competition, based on employee surveys, is sponsored by Stagnito Media, a publisher of trade publications, and ZweigWhite, a consulting firm.
