A seminar in Fallon this month will bring together experts on marketing, law and finance to help local businesses weather the economic storms.
The free seminar organized by the Churchill Economic Development Authority is set for Sept. 26 at the Fallon Convention Center.
Session leaders will include Steve Weich, a counselor with SCORE and veteran businessman, on cost-control and financial record-keeping; Gary Smith, a retired SCORE counselor and former senior vice president of Credence Systems Corp., on practical marketing tools; and Bonnie Drinkwater, a Reno attorney, on legal issues that business owners need to understand.
Keynote speaker will be Rachel Dahl, a member of the Fallon City Council.
