The Nevada State Contractors Board issued citations to three unlicensed contractors in the Reno area.
Criminal citations for contracting without a license were issued to Jerry W. Higgins, an electrician; James T. Roberts, a plumber; and Timothy R. Bailey, a painter.
The state agency said unlicensed contractors are commonly advertising on Web sites and on bulletin boards at locations such as grocery stores.
