Burkes back at learning store

Maureen and Sean Burke have resumed ownership and operation of Parent Teacher Aids, a Reno store that sells learning supplies.

The Burke family opened the store in 1979. Although the business was founded at Reno Town Mall, it currently occupies 5,000 square feet at Smithridge Center, 5000 Smithridge Dr. Sean Burke said the store markets an inventory of 15,000 education items to teachers, home-schoolers and other parents.
