Robert Carrington has been named interim president of General Metals Corp., a Reno-based mining company.
He succeeds Stephen Parent, who resigned as president, chief executive and director.
Carrington, who was also named to the board of publicly held General Metals, most previously worked as chief executive officer of Gold Canyon Resources. He is also the president of Colombian Mines Corp.
