Merger drives expansion of JLH

A 2008 merger a with packaging and fulfillment company Complemar of Rochester, N.Y., helped JLH of Sparks outgrow its current 24,000-sqaure-foot facility on East Greg Street. JLH recently leased much larger warehouse facilities at 200 Vista Blvd.

Chris Fleiner, president of the JLH division of Complemar, says a trend by Complemar's national clients to shift business to the West Coast drives JLH's need for additional space.

"The move we made with Complemar was one of best moves we could make," Fleiner says. "As they grow their businesses, we are growing along with them. We needed to have a bigger space in order to service these clients."

Low lease rates for industrial space also helped spur the move, Fleiner adds. Mike McCabe, senior vice president with the Colliers International industrial group, represented JLH in lease negotiations with landlord ProLogis, which was represented by Travis Durfee.

The JLH division of Complemar expects to be working from the new facility by the end of May.
