Russ Romine, president and majority shareholder in Griffin Global Logistics, has begun a two-year term as chairman of the Economic Development Authority of Western Nevada.
Other officers include Stephanie Kruse of KPS3 Marketing, vice chairman; Steve Anderson of RBC Wealth Management, secretary; Leigh Goddard of McDonald Carano Wilson LLP, treasurer; Jack Prescott of First Independent Bank of Nevada, immediate past chair; and Chuck Alvey of EDAWN, presidents.
Other members of the EDAWN board of trustees include Doug Kurkul of the Reno Sparks Chamber of Commerce, Dave LaPlante of One-to-One Interactive, Jim Newman of Holland & Hart as a representative of WIN, Lou Primak of Agate Sierra Construction Inc., Paul Thomsen of Ormat Technologies, Inc., Par Tolles of Dermody Properties/DP Partners and Tom White of Haws Corp.
