Randi Thompson has been named state director of the National Federation of Independent Business in Nevada.
Thompson is owner of As You Wish, a Reno-based government and public relations consulting firm.
She also has worked with the Nevada office of the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, the U.S. Energy Department and the Industry Association for the Super Collider Project (1989-1992).
Thompson earned a journalism degree at the University of Oregon.
