Deal on Austin-area project

Miranda Gold Corp. of Vancouver said last week it struck a deal with Australia's Ramelius Resources Ltd. that allows Ramelius to earn a joint venture interest in the Big Blue gold project in Lander County.

The deal calls for Ramelius to spend $4 million over five years on the project to earn a 60 percent interest in the property 13 miles north of Austin. Further spending by Ramelius would increase its interest in the property.
