Altair Nanotechnologies, Inc. of Reno has been awarded a patent covering its nanotechnology manufacturing process for battery anodes and cathodes in lithium-ion batteries utilizing a wider range of metal oxides.
Separately, Altair said NASDAQ gave the company an additional 180 days to regain compliance with a NASDAQ rule that requires a minimum share price of $1. The company plans a reverse stock split to get the price back over $1.
