Employers Occupational Health, Inc., a subsidiary of Employers Holdings Inc. of Reno, is one of 30 finalists for a national award in best practices in health care consumer empowerment and protection.
Employers developed a process to identify, monitor, and address over use of narcotic medications.
Winner of the award will be announced by URAC, a nonprofit healthcare accreditation organization, in early October.
