Education Alliance leadership

Jim Pfrommer of the certified public accounting firm Pfrommer McCune Ltd. in Reno has been elected president of the Education Alliance of Washoe County.

He succeeds Fred Altmann of Altmann-Ott Homes, who remains on the group's executive committee as past-president.

Other members of the executive committee include Mike Dillon of The Builders Association of Northern Nevada, vice president; Ginny Jackson, a community representative, secretary; Helen O'Brien, a community representative, treasurer; and Michelle Sanchez-Bickley of Renown, at large.

New board members include Leann Pinguelo of Reno Orthopaedic Clinic, Debra Gamble of Northern Nevada Black Cultural Awareness Society, Dr. Julie Wagner of St. Mary's, Dr. Angie Taylor of Greater Light Christian Center, Dean Whellams of Q&D Construction and Manny Martinez, a consultant.
