The River Room, a cafe and lounge, has opened in the Riverside Hotel building at 17 St. Virginia St.
The restaurant is owned by Chuck Shapiro, who also owns the neighboring Wild River Grille. Mike Woodall is chef of River Room.
Urban Design Studio of Reno create the cafe's interior.
