Reno Harley-Davidson dealership sold

Reno Harley-Davison has been acquired by a family that also owns Harley dealerships in Idaho, Wyoming and Arizona.

E.B. Chester, a former bank executive in Colorado, and his sons, Craig and Cliff, acquired the dealership from John and Marci Crowell. Terms of the transaction, which also includes the Reno Harley-Davidson store at the Silver Legacy, weren't disclosed.

The Chester family purchased Harley-Davison dealerships in Idaho Falls and Pocatello, Idaho, in 2002. They added dealerships in Jackson Hole, Wyo., and Twin Falls, Idaho, in 2004, and Mesa, Ariz., in 2005.

Debbie Metcalfe has been named general manager of the Reno location. It includes new and used motorcycle sales, service, parts, and Harley-Davison apparel and collectibles.

The Crowells had owned the dealership since 2004.
