Seven Reno contractors face allegations that they bid on work or advertised for jobs although they weren't properly licensed by the state.
Lucas H. Schopper of Bella Terra Professional Landscaping Services LLC was arrested on a warrant from the Nevada State Contractors Board and ordered to appear in Washoe County Court.
Criminal citations were issued to Daniel Powers, a drywall finisher and painter; Kevin T. Sample of Kings Way Home Improvement, Michael Buckner of Independent Commercial & Home Repair, Walter Gasbarri, a plumber, electrician and carpenter and Ralph Dennis of Nevada Construction Landscaping.
