Paul Dugan, former Washoe County School District superintendent, will serve as chairman of the board of the United Way of Northern Nevada and the Sierra.
Other 2010 officers elected include: Vice Chair Barbara Drake, a community volunteer; Treasurer Joan Dees, a community volunteer; and Secretary Ann Campbell, center manager for JCPenney Logistics Center.
New board members include: Mary-Ann Andrews, vice president of operation/business development for Sage International, Inc.; Shera Alberti-Annunzio, assistant director of professional development and certificate programs at the University of Nevada, Reno, extended studies; Vaughna Bendickson, vice president/Nevada learning and sales development manager at Wells Fargo; Nancy Brown, senior manager of community development at Charles Schwab Bank; Mendy Elliott, a community volunteer; and Heath Morrison, superintendent of Washoe County School District.
