Golden Pinecone winners

May Winston, founder of Energy Masters in Reno, will be recognized with a "Golden Pinecone Award" from Nevada EcoNet on Nov. 12.

Other winners of the award, which recognizes significant contributions toward sustaining and improving the natural environment of the Truckee Meadows, will include Rebecca Wagner of the Public Utilities Commission of Nevada; Dan Jacquet of the Carson City office of the Bureau of Land Management; Alice Reban, the founder of the group that became Keep Truckee Meadows Beautiful; Friends of Nevada Wilderness and the Reno City Council.
