State board revokes contractors' licenses

The Nevada State Contractors Board has revoked the licenses of Conely Equipment & Leasing LLC of Reno and Stegmeir Quality Construction Co. Inc. of Sun Valley.

The board said Conely failed to pay for materials or services and didn't establish financial responsibility.

Stegmeir's license was revoked after the board found its workmanship was substandard, it failed to get a building permit and it worked outside the scope of its license.

In other disciplinary action, the board reduced the license limit of Crest Heights Company of Nevada, a Spring Creek company that does business as Bailey Construction. The board found the company engaged in misrepresentation, acted beyond the scope of its license and contracted with an unlicensed contractors.

The license limited of Franklin Electric of Reno was lowered after the board found the company owned by Kenneth Lee Franklin engaged in misrepresentation.
