Federal contracts awarded

New federal contracts awarded to northern Nevada companies include:

* Chromalloy Gas Turbine Corp. of Carson City won a contract worth $469,353 to maintain and repair turbine engines for the U.S. Navy.

* F.A.A.D. Janitorial of Carson City won a contract worth $12,451 to provide cleaning services at the Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest administrative office on South Carson Street in Carson City. The contract runs through March 31, 2012, with a three-year option.

* Misty Mountain Maintenance of Fernley was awarded a contract for $9,600 to provide janitorial services to the U.S. Forest Service.

* Ralbo Inc. of Sparks won a contract worth $100,000 to provide valves to the Defense Logistics Agency.
