R. Geoffrey Browne

R. Geoffrey Browne has been named chief executive officer of Liberty Silver Corp. of Reno.

Browne, who also was named to the company's board, was head of private equity for Merrill Lynch Canada and a founder and Managing Partner of MWI & Partners, a private equity firm.

He earned a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Western Ontario.
