Spanish Springs Construction was awarded a contract through the U.S. Department of Agriculture to expand and repave two parking areas near the dam at Frenchman's Lake in California.
Spanish Springs also will install a new restroom facility and an access trail to the lakeshore. The company is expected to begin work Nov. 15 and have it completed it by Oct. 15, 2011.
