Liana McGill and Joseph Mavis have been promoted at University Health System, the clinical practice of the University of Nevada School of Medicine.
McGill was named statewide human resources director for the health system. She has worked for University Health System for more than 10 years.
Mavis was promoted to statewide director of accounting. He previously served as accounting supervisor.
He has worked 28 years in the insurance, hospital and health-care sectors. Mavis joined University Health system in 2007 as a senior accountant.
