Heather Shull, 25, won the Nevada Appeal's first photo sweepstakes on Facebook last month.
The Carson City native took home 11 photos shot by one of the Nevada Appeal's photographers.
The contest allowed fans of the Nevada Appeal on Facebook to "tag" themselves in photos. A winner was randomly drawn from all those who participated.
Some of the photos Shull chose were of wild flowers near Carson City, a snow-covered tree and the V&T Railroad.
