Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• A 20-year-old laborer from Carson City was arrested at 7:16 p.m. Tuesday on Highway 395 at Eastlake Boulevard on suspicion of misdemeanor contempt of court. Bail was set at $212.

• An 18-year-old Mound House woman was arrested at 9:45 a.m. Tuesday in the 3900 block of Pheasant Drive on suspicion of misdemeanor failure to complete community service, failure to pay fines and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $2,143.

• David Daniel Cain, 25, a transient, was arrested at 11:28 a.m. Tuesday in the 500 block of Wright Way on a felony warrant out of Lincoln County for suspicion of felony forgery. Bail was set at $2,500.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:

• Accident at North Carson and Long streets at 11:41 a.m.

• Report of a storage unit on Lone Mountain Drive ransacked within the last month.

• Coroner call at Evergreen Healthcare in the 200 block of Koontz Lane at 5:45 p.m.

• A woman claimed at 1:35 p.m. that she left her wallet on a counter in Walmart and when she returned moments later $900 in cash was missing. A review of surveillance footage does not support the woman's version of events, the report states. The woman said prior to going to Walmart she stopped at a casino to withdraw cash from an ATM. She denied gambling and insisted her money was stolen from her wallet. A report was taken.

• A hairdresser reported at 8:56 p.m. that a woman threatened an employee by saying she felt "murderous" because she did not like her son's haircut.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:

• Felony arrest on Highway 50 East in Dayton at 2:56 a.m.

• Report of a fight at a Silver Springs bus stop between middle school siblings in which one of the children was reportedly lying on the ground not responding at 7:24 a.m.

• The China Chef on Main Street in Fernley had its front door shattered and it was burglarized a caller reported at 7:11 a.m.

• Accident on Fortune Drive in Dayton at 11:46 a.m.

• A car reported stolen out of Colorado Springs, Colo., was found at a Fernley wrecking yard at 10:40 a.m.

• A Silver Springs man reported at 7:20 p.m. that sometime Tuesday morning someone stole the door off his car as it was parked on Winnemucca Street.

• A Mason Valley man reported at 8:08 p.m. that someone broke the windshield and caved in the roof of his vehicle on Highway 339.

• Report at 10:19 p.m. on Highway 95 Alternate in Mason Valley of someone breaking into the back of a building at the county garage.
