Robert "Bob" Stevens, 87, passed away peacefully at home in Carson City on March 31, 2011. He was a life-long heavy equipment operator and a 57-year "elite" member of Operating Engineers Local 3. He is survived by his wife Barbara; daughter Karen (Mark) Rutledge; sons Mark and Robert J. (Shelly), and six grandchildren, all of Carson City. A private service will be held for the immediate family. Fitzhenry's Funeral Home is caring for the arrangements.
