Michael A. Iannacchione has been named general manager of the Mt. Hope project, a molybdenum mine under development by General Moly Inc. near Eureka.
Iannacchione previously worked as operations manager at Goldcorp's Marigold Mine near Battle Mountain. He also has held management positions at the Round Mountain Mine in Round Mountain, the Atlas Gold Mine in Eureka, the Robinson Mine at Ely and the Bald Mountain Mine at Ely.
He earned a bachelor's degree in mine engineering from the University of Nevada, Reno.
