Elsie L. Franzone, 96, of Carson City died April 14, 2011. She was born in Mt. Vernon, Ark., on Feb. 13, 1915. She is preceded in death by her husband Sam Franzone; four brothers and two sisters. She is survived by daughter Terry Phillips (Dave); brother Berry Terry (Betty); sisters Avaline Brewer (Vardmon) and Lois Smith (Lionel); three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Interment will be at Walton's Carson Gardens cemetery, with a celebration of life planned for the future. Walton's Chapel of the Valley, Carson City, is in charge of arrangements.
