James Steinman, 57, of Dayton, died Feb. 27, 2011, in Reno. He was born Jan. 27, 1954, in Vallejo, Calif. He is survived by his father Alton Hacker; sisters Michele Barkalski, Cheryl Nielson, Francis Hacker; daughter Tara Steinman; three grandchildren and numerous extended family members. Mountain View Mortuary, Reno is in charge of arrangements.
