Harry Meyer, 12, of Carson City trains in Canada for snowboard competitions. He competed last weekend in the USA Snowboard Association's free ride competition in Copper Mountain, Colo., in the half pipe and slope style events. He took 13th in the half pipe. Meyer has been competing in the sport for four years.
