A fatal accident at Highway 50 and Kit Kat Drive in Mound House has traffic backed up in the area. Traffic is currently being diverted around the scene as all four lanes are blocked.
The accident happened at 3:54 p.m. today. Three others - including two children - were injured in the crash. According to Trooper Chuck Allen the two children were taken by medical helicopter to Reno. Another person was taken by ground ambulance to Carson Tahoe.
Nevada Highway Patrol are currently on scene and are expected to remain there until at least 6:30 p.m.
The NHP is investigating the accident. No other information is available.
