Realtors set annual educational event

Mark Lesswing, senior vice president and chief technology officer for the National Association of Realtors, will keynote the eighth annual EdExpo Real Estate Education and Tradeshow Event in Reno.

The event sponsored by the Reno-Sparks Association of Realtors is scheduled May 18-20 at the Peppermill Resort Spa Casino.

Lesswing will discuss the need to adapt real estate marketing to the changing Internet landscape.

Other spotlighted speakers during the event will include author Dianna Brouthers, an nationally recognized expert on professional real estate practice, and Karel Murray, an expert on career development for real estate professionals.

Educational tracks during the event allow real estate professionals to complete the 24 hours of continuing education required for licensing during its three days.

A trade show, meanwhile, will include displays from about 30 exhibitors who provide products and services to the real estate industry.

Early registration of $350 for members of the Reno-Sparks Association of Realtors is available until May 6. After that, registration is $400.

Separate registration is available for individual classes and for Lesswing's May 19 luncheon presentation.
