Carson City Fire Fighters remove a piece of sheet metal loosened by high winds Monday from the Walgreens sign at William Street and Saliman Road. Wind gusts of up to 55 mph in the valley toppled trees and sent garbage cans flying down the street. Winds were expected to die down Monday night to make way for sunny skies and warmer temperatures today.
