Happy Hour to benefit Dayton mother

A fundraiser with a raffle is set for Monday to benefit a Carson City-area mother who's fighting cancer.

Friends of Jolee Hoffman of Dayton said an extended happy hour will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. Monday on the patio of Red's Old 395 Grill, 1055 S. Carson St. in Carson City.

Premium spirits and selected drafts are for sale for $1.99 with the purchase of a $10 "Cancer Awareness" wristband. Each wristband comes with one entry into the raffle drawing. Additional raffle tickets will be sold during the event at $2 per ticket, or three for $5.

Hoffman, a married mother of two, was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 Lymphoma.
