Amy Parks has been named acting commissioner of the Nevada Division of Insurance, and Larry Dizon has been named acting commissioner of the state Office of the Labor Commissioner.
Parks, who has served as chief counsel of the insurance division, succeeds Commissioner Brett Barratt, who will leave the post August 12 as he moved out of state for personal reasons.
Dizon, currently the chief investigator for the Office of the Labor Commissioner, succeeds Labor Commissioner Michael Tanchek, who will become an attorney with the state Division of Industrial Relations.
