The renaming of the Gold's Gym locations in Reno and Sparks to "Fitness Connection" this month comes after the owner of the fitness centers ended its franchise agreement with Gold's Gym.
Titan Fitness, the owner of the Reno and Sparks facilities, acquired Houston-based Fitness Connection this summer. It will continue to own and manage the gyms, and executives said no change in personnel is planned after the name change.
