Farmers market update

Lattin Farms will be selling Hearts of Gold Melons at the 3rd and Curry Streets Farmer Market 8:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. today. They sold out last week so make that your first stop if you have to have one.

Once again, Lucky Me Farms will have their pepper roaster at the market and will be roasting their own peppers as well as some from Holley Farms.

Now is the time to get your fruit for canning or making jams and don't forget to bring those knives and garden shears to be sharpened.

Music at the market this week will be Large Bills Accepted, aka Chris Bayer.

There are only five weeks left for this year's farmers market, so enjoy all the wonderful produce the market has to offer.
