Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• A 40-year-old man from Minden was arrested at 9:10 p.m. Tuesday in the 1200 block of South Carson Street on suspicion of misdemeanor failure to appear. Bail was set at $357.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:

• Report at 4:46 a.m. of a fight between two men over missing property at an apartment on College Parkway. One man was said to be wielding "a piece of pottery as a weapon."

• Report at 10:27 a.m. of an employee's cash drawer coming up $318 short.

• Report at 10:47 a.m. of money missing from the 1800 block of North Carson Street.

• A bicyclist was struck by a vehicle at 11 a.m. at East William and Roop Streets.

• Report at 1:10 p.m. of a student with drugs at Pioneer High School.

• Residential burglary report at 3:51 p.m. on Silver Sage Drive.

Storey County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:

• A caller reported at 9:47 a.m. from Main Street in Gold Hill that there was a rattle snake under the porch and they couldn't get it out.
