Heritage Bank of Nevada was the leading producer of Small Business Administration 504 and 7(a) loans in northern Nevada during the fiscal year that ended Oct. 1.
The bank headquartered in Reno said it generated eight loans totaling $3.5 million in the SBA 504 loan-guarantee program, which provides financing for fixed assets such as real estate and machinery. Heritage generated another 15 loans totaling $2.79 million in the SBA's 7(a) guarantee program which provides financing for a variety of small-business needs.
Heritage said it made SBA loans in Washoe and Douglas counties as well as Carson City.
