Bonna B. Cowan, 74, passed away December 15, 2011 in Carson City, NV. Bonna was born September 10, 1937, in Nebraska to David and Marie Rosenbalm. Although Bonna had spent the majority of her life in Louisiana, her local family and her friends here in Carson City feel blessed an enriched to have had her here since 2004.
Bonna is survived by four sons, Michael Cowan (Julie) of Carson City, NV; James L. Cowan, Scott Brewer and Kenneth Brewer all from Lafayette, LA. One brother, David Rosenbalm (Susie) of Omaha, NE. Three sisters, Rebecca Rosenbalm of Houston, TX, Patricia Ullrich (Richard) of Anchorage, AK and Melody Rosenbalm of Omaha, NE. Six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
There will be a visitation for Bonna Monday, December 19, 2011, 12:00 pm until 3:00 pm at Walton's Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 pm also at Walton's. Bonna will be laid to rest alongside her husband, Michael A. Cowan, in Lafayette, LA.
