The following information applies to the period of Dec. 26-Jan. 1:
Due to a project to complete a new north-south water transmission line on the east side of Carson City, there will be shoulder work on South Lompa Lane between Edmonds Drive and Grandville Drive. There will also be shoulder work on Edmonds Drive between Fairview Drive and Gentry Lane. Minimal delays are expected.
There will be work at North Carson Street in the vicinity of the freeway overpass as a result of the freeway landscaping project. No closures are expected.
On Wednesday and Thursday, there will be lane closures on the inside lane of eastbound and westbound Highway 50 East from Centennial Drive in Carson City, through Mound House, to approximately half a mile east of State Route 341/Virginia City Highway due to the construction of centerline rumble strips.
